Polani Travel partners with BR-DGE to boost choice at checkout

It will utilise insights to drive informed decisions for its payment stack

Payment orchestration provider BR-DGE has announced a new partnership with e-commerce company offering travel products and services Polani Travel.

The partnership will equip Polani Travel and its flightcatchers.com business with the latest BR-DGE payment orchestration technology in order to deliver a “first-class, seamless online checkout experience” for customers. 

The e-commerce company offer flights, hotels and holiday packages will have access to BR-DGE’s platform of more than 300 payment and technology providers via a single point of integration.

The family-run business, that operates flightcatchers.com, which is an IATA-accredited agent offering flights and holidays for UK travellers, is about to make the transition to a multi-acquirer strategy.

It will be able to route traffic and utilise data insights to drive informed decisions for its payment stack.

Recent BR-DGE research found that only 5% of consumers have previously used Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) for purchasing holidays, but consumers are increasingly looking for flexibility at the checkout, as nearly half of consumers shopping for travel and holidays (42%) are open to using flexible payment solutions, such as instalment payment options or BNPL solutions in the future.

Polani Travel is working to meet this demand for alternative payment methods, with the partnership to highlight the business’s “commitment to investing in cutting-edge technology in order to deliver a simple and hassle-free online experience”.

Polani Travel joins other UK travel companies such as Kenwood Travel and Travel Counsellors are already working with BR-DGE.
